User's notes

The water fern famous in the Bruce 'Pink' pond has tragically made its way to Lake Ginninderra and is already spreading. How far will it spread? Should it be removed or is that that even now possible?

I spoke with a gentleman at the lake this morning. There is a plan in place to suck all these weed out of the lake next month. Then using drones to spray orange citrus to kill off any remnant weeds. They have already done this at the infamous Bruce pink pond two weeks ago. No more pink pond!

This is a native water plant, known for its bursts of growth and later collapse.
What was the problem with this - other than abundance ?
