@donhe : I am so embarrassed. I hadn't noticed the larvae at the time. It was only when I was looking at the photos of the Calytrix after I got home, that I noticed it. Its colouring is so similar to the plant it was on.

$RobG1 : I think all the Chlenias larvae have a yellow dorsal stripe, which this does not have. I do hope you can rear it in protective custody to get an adult moth for an ID.
