I had wondered what the 'white' comment referred to. The ANIC ones on BOLD are all distinctly yellow even the very worn one. iNat (even verified) can only be a guide, in my opinion.

Sorry not as exciting as a tadpole but the larvae form of a European Bee mimic Hover Fly. The larvae has the rather derogatory name of a rat-tailed maggot.
